About Boise County Criminal History

Boise County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff's Records Section, the county courts, the Idaho State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification, the Idaho Department of Correction, and the Idaho Sex Offender Registry. Each source answers a different kind of question. This private guide brings the official portals, request routes, addresses, and phone numbers into one place so readers can identify the proper record custodian before starting a search.

Why We Built This Site

Idaho offers several official routes to public information, yet no single search combines every Boise County record. The Sheriff keeps its incident, arrest, booking, and holding-facility material. The Clerk of the District Court maintains filed charges, docket events, dispositions, and judgments. The Idaho State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification holds the statewide criminal-history repository, while the Idaho Department of Correction and Idaho Sex Offender Registry cover separate custody, supervision, and registration records. This site organizes the verified contacts, search tools, fees, and request steps for those distinct sources.

What You Will Find Here

  • Record guides: how to search and understand Boise County court case files
  • Official check instructions: the differences between Idaho name-based and fingerprint-supported BCI checks
  • Record relief orientation: where Idaho expungement, sealing, and Clean Slate shielding procedures begin

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to an Idaho court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Our role has firm limits:

  • We do not issue certified court files, criminal histories, or other official copies
  • We cannot submit a records request, sealing motion, or expungement application for a reader
  • We do not retrieve criminal records or perform an official background check
  • We cannot interpret a charge, warrant, judgment, or legal remedy for a specific person
  • We cannot promise that an agency's address, fee, phone number, or process has not changed

An official copy must come from the Boise County Sheriff, the court clerk, the Idaho State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification, or the other office that maintains it.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. If a tool leads to a paid enrollment, this site may receive a referral payment that supports free public access to the guides. We neither set those charges nor decide which information a partner returns.
